6 of Swords

The Six of Swords reorganises the tension that comes before and opens a mental transition: it shifts the point of view or moves you out of a conflicting setting.

What the card shows

Six parallel blades divide into two groups of three and form a steady span. The points rise the same way, leaving a free passage between the two sets.

Its light

A measured step aside makes the gaze calmer and brings out solutions the original situation hid: what you saw up close comes back into perspective.

Its shadow

You change place while keeping the same method: the table is new, and the tension settles back in the same spot of the landscape, under another ceiling.

Notes on the symbolism

Symbolism TdM. The VI doubles the III and closes the first half of the numbers; this count with no axis arranges itself in equal parts on the card.

What this card invites you to do

Name what you leave and what you keep. Sort it out before you move, rather than counting on the move to settle everything.

A card does not decide for you.
